Navatech Ltd was contracted by Rever Offshore to design the seafastening of the 400Te CECON under roller Reel Drive System onboard the "Boa Deep C" as part of the Dhirubhai project. The project consisted of recovering buoyancy modules with mooring wire/fibre rope.
The work scope was the sea fastening of the RDS system to the vessel with its two 9.2m reels of 206Te (each). Cecon Contracting AS delivered successfully the project.
The under rollers were bolted to a pair of existing grillages, consisting of 2 x 11m frameworks fabricated from HE 400B beams.
