The MDL Reel Drive System (RDS) has been mobilised onto the Rever Polaris as part of the Total Ballindaloch project.

The RDS tower assembly includes two towers and two length of 12m skidding track which are bolted to the Rever RDS grillage to distribute the loading onto the deck.

One 8.6m MDL reel has been used for the offshore campaign, it has been loaded with product, giving a reel and product weight of 60.7Te.

Navatech has been involved in the seafastening & design/check of the following items:

– RDS seafastening;
– RDS dance floor design;
– 30Te SWL A&R winch;
