Navatech Ltd was contracted by Bibby Offshore to perform the seafastening of a 12.5Te SWL work class ROV (QUASAR) onboard the Bibby sapphire

The work involved:
– Seafastening Grillage Design;
– Seafastening arrangement design;
– Deck Verification;
– Class approval.

The ROV LARS and its seafastening grillage encroached above an access hatch on the deck, to allow intermittent access through the hatch 4 bolted joints on the inboard side of the grillage allow access by removing the winch and the inboard section of the grillage.
