Navatech Ltd was contracted by Bibby Offshore to assist the structural side of the installation of an umbilical lay spread on board the Olympic Ares.

This includes the seafastening of the following items:
– 1200Te carousel, including the modification of the vessel underdeck structure (The deck was highly stressed and involved liaising with the class authority)
– Level Wind;
– Turning Bollard;
– 20Te deck Winch;
– Chute and Tensioner;
– Deck Sheave;
– Depressor.
